HR & Admin Director

Our client:  A Public Listed Property Developer Company based in Klang Valley.

Responsibilities:

  • Managed all human resources functions including recruiting, on-boarding, training, benefits enrolment and administration, payroll, workers compensation, employee recognition, safety, wellness programs and to develop HR and general administration budget.
  • To assist company on HR related matters, i.e. Industrial Relations, Performance Management Systems, Managing Misconducts establishing HR Department and Job Descriptions and Designing Salary Structures. Must be very conversant in Malaysian Employment practices and Laws.
  • To introduce Employee Branding to the company for increased retention, comprehensive on boarding, positive internet presence, and improved recruiting strategies and methodologies that resulted in better workforce.
  • To design and develop comprehensive interview guides to improve candidate quality through testing both analytical and interpersonal attributes.
  • To build strong relationships with senior management to enable systematic decision making across.
  • To conduct & implement Talent Review and Succession Planning sessions to determine organizational deficiencies and built development plans to fill gaps.
  • To Introduce a new company compensation program based on seniority, title, and performance.
  • To foster employee and organizational development, encouraging strengths and identifying potential areas of growth. 
  • To develop and hands-on extensive training programs for management/employees on diversity inclusion, leadership, change management, sexual harassment, and legal compliance.
  • To provide individual leadership coaching to senior leaders and management. 
  • To develop & integrate Salary Planning and Short Term Incentive program within the Performance Management Process (including ESOS performance allocation plan) to successfully meet tight timeframe with high level of accuracy.
  • To train management team on interviewing techniques and best practices, conducting workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions that contributed to sound hiring decisions. Devised creative and cost-effective incentive and morale-boosting programs that increased employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • To create compensation strategy, structure, grades, ranges, and merit process, and ability to attract and retain.
  • To design and implement HR processes and policies, eliminating existing liability and exposure.
  • To define organizational structure and position content through position/talent analysis process, resulting in employment savings and greater efficiencies through staff reduction and enhanced accountabilities.
  • To implement behavioural based performance management system, defining expectations, standards, and key performance areas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in Public Listed Company preferably in Property/Construction.
